There are a variety of wine courses for everyone who likes wine, whether you are a beginner or more experienced in the world of wine. We work for an inclusive wine knowledge/education where we remove wine snobbery and make wine knowledge more accessible. At The Wine
Hub, we offer everything from wine lectures and introductory wine courses to masterclasses and Sweden's most in-depth sommelier programme.

All our courses are characterised by great curiosity, solid knowledge, an eye for trends but above all a passion for wine.

Our vision is to become Sweden's main wine hub - a gathering place for everyone who shares our interest in wine and who wants to deepen their wine knowledge. The Wine Hub offers a place for everyone, regardless of level and is here to educate everyone interested in wine. We have a

The Wine Hub certifications

The Wine Hub Scandinavian School of Sommeliers is a wine school that certifies people in the beverage industry as well as private individuals.

We educate the sommeliers and future wine stars, but also the private person interested in wine. With us, you are awarded a certificate after completing the sommelier programme, Vin 1 and Vin 2.

Sommelier course

The Wine Hub's sommelier course has in a very short time become hugely appreciated by sommelier students around Sweden. During 20 days of training, spread across several months, you will learn about the world's classic wine countries, how wine is made, the importance of terroir and about spirits, beer and other beverages. But the programme also covers exciting new wine areas beyond the traditional wine map. We place great emphasis on wine tastings, which we hold twice per training day. In addition, we go through new relevant grapes, environmental aspects and how to best combine food and drink. We also focus on current and new topics such as natural wine and Swedish wines.
After completing the sommelier programme, you become a certified sommelier.

Vin 1 - Introductory wine course
The perfect wine course for those who really want to know more about the world's wines. During 6 evenings, we cover the basics of wine tasting, the very best wine countries and regions around the world, how to best combine wine and food, and the most important and exciting grapes. You
don't need any prior knowledge of wine, but we recommend a great deal of curiosity. At each course, we also have a teacher-led wine tasting.


Vin 2 - Specialisation in wine
The wine course for those who want to deepen their knowledge of wine, learn about more exciting areas, which grapes are the best and which wine trends are current. During six intensive evenings, we cover the most essential aspects of the wine world today. You'll learn about the wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy, why Ribera del Duero is an exciting challenger to Rioja, innovative wine countries in Eastern Europe and why English Sparkling is suddenly taking centre stage. Among many other things. Each evening of the course we also taste six carefully selected wines. A very
rewarding course that surprises and a good complement for those who have studied more introductory courses, such as Vin 1.
